As omicron lurks, Native Americans wary of boosters Vaccination rates for American Indians and Alaska Natives were some of the highest in the country, but tribes say resistance has slowed efforts to boost members. NBC News

When Covid-19 vaccines first became available, Native Americans acted swiftly and with determination to get their shots — as though they had everything to lose.
