The U.S. Global Change Research Program and the Commons Lab of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars are hosting a public forum to explore ways in which crowd-based approaches, such as citizen science and community-based monitoring, are and can be used to track climate change and support indicators or indicator systems. One such indicator system, proposed through the USGCRP, will use information from the physical, natural, and social sciences to communicate about and inform decisions related to climate change, impacts, vulnerabilities, and responses. Please join us to hear from notable academics, practitioners and federal employees about how to realize this vision.
