Trigger Point 1: WHO Alert 3: Pathogen proven to cause human to human transmission
Trigger Point 2: WHO Alert 4: Pathogen creating human to human spread in 1 country
Trigger Point 3: WHO Alert 5: Pathogen creating increasing cases in at least 2 countries
Trigger Point 4: WHO Alert 6: Pathogen spreading worldwide
Trigger Point 5: Disease spreading within one’s own country
Trigger Point 6: Disease spreading within one’s own region, or where you have traveled
Trigger Point 7: Disease spreading within one’s community, or where you have traveled
Trigger Point 8: Someone you know has become infected
Trigger Point 9: Someone you have been in contact with during the past week is infected
Trigger Point 10: You are caring for someone that who is sick
Trigger Point 11: You have symptoms consistent with the infection
Trigger Point 12: You are ill and require home care
Trigger Point 13: You are seriously ill and require medical care
Trigger Point 14: You are potentially in health or life threatening condition
Trigger Point 15: You are still ill, but are feeling better

Trigger Point 18: You have been tested and are free of infectious agent
Trigger Point 19: All your social networks are free of illness
Trigger Point 20: You have been vaccinated, have survived the illness with active antibodies, or there is no longer any illness in your area
