National Capital Region Resilience System

The mission of this Working Group is to build resilience in Washington, D.C. and the National Capital Region through engaging intelligent social networks. A special focus of the NCR Resilience System during the summer and fall of 2009 will be to engage severity-indexed, trigger point-based, prospective best practices, before the second wave of SO-H1N1 hits. Given the concern that the SO-H1N1 second wave might peak in advance of the majority of the citizens of the NCR being immunized for SO-H1N1, efforts must be engaged immediately to achieve behavioral and social immunity, until everyone in the region is fully immunized.
